In south-central New Mexico, some 25 kilometers (15 miles) north of White Sands National Monument and just west of Carrizozo, you will find a very large lava flow across the New Mexico desert landscape and highway. The lava is the Carrizozo Malpais, a massive volcanic lava flow left over from volcanic activity that occurred several thousand years ago. The Valley of Fire is so large you can see it from space. Road Trip – Highway 70 Through the Rocky Mountain

Come take a tour of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado as we travel along Interstate Highway 70. We will start in Denver and end in Glenwood Canyon. We will take a look at towns and sites such as Golden, Morrison, Red Rock Amphitheater, Dinosaur Ridge, Denver’s buffalo herd, Buffalo Bill Cody’s grave and museum, Evergreen, Central City, Idaho Springs, Georgetown and its big horn sheep, Eisenhower tunnel, Vail, and more.
