Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a historical castle called Glen Eyrie Castle. Glen Eyrie is an English Tudor-style castle built in 1871 by General William Palmer. Who happens to be the founder of the beautiful city of Colorado Springs. Haunting Colorado Ghost Resort Left to Rot – Interlaken

Come along with us as we take a hike high in the Rocky Mountains just outside of Leadville, Colorado to a haunting abandoned ghost resort called Interlaken. The abandoned Interlaken Ghost Resort, is located on the south side of Twin Lakes and was considered one of Colorado’s most beautiful resort in the late 1800’s. But for nearly a century, the abandoned resort’s buildings were left to crumble and its access road was cut off by a rising lake. Leaving it alone and only accessible by trail or by boat. Leadville Colorado Forgotten Irish

Dr. Jim Walsh of the University of Colorado Denver, found a lonely graveyard with acres of unmarked graves in the famous Rocky Mountain mining town of Leadville, Colorado. The sinking grave sites hold between 1200 and 2000 forgotten Irish immigrants who once mined the area during the boom days of the late 1800’s. Dr. Walsh will tell us about the people who are buried there, their plight to find recognition and the projects to bring their stories to the forefront.
