Valley of Fires Can Be Seen From Space | New Mexico Travel Guide

In south-central New Mexico, some 25 kilometers (15 miles) north of White Sands National Monument and just west of Carrizozo, you will find a very large lava flow across the New Mexico desert landscape and highway. The lava is the Carrizozo Malpais, a massive volcanic lava flow left over from volcanic activity that occurred several thousand years ago. The Valley of Fire is so large you can see it from space. The Spirits of the Callahan House in Longmont Colorado | Haunted Travel

The Callahan House, in Longmont Colorado, was built in 1892 and purchased by Thomas and Alice Callahan in 1896. This beautiful historical Colorado Haunted mansion is said to be haunted by the ghosts of the Callahan family. It is alleged that the spirits are still seen and felt throughout the mansion, which is now owned by the City of Longmont and rented out for weddings and events. Colorado Martini participated in a group paranormal investigation event hosted by Kindred Spirits Society and Colorado Ghost Hunters. Haunted Colorado | Ghost in the Gardens – Denver Botanic Gardens are the largest and prettiest gardens I have ever had the pleasure to visit. During the day the garden’s beauty surpasses the rest. Maybe because the dirt has compost like no other. This is the site of the long-forgotten Mount Calvary Cemetery. Like its next-door neighbor, Cheesman Park, several bodies were left behind. Estes Park & Rocky Mountain National Park Elk Rut

Recently a Woman was attacked by a bull elk on a sidewalk in Estes Park, Colorado. It is important that tourist visiting Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park understand that during the Elk Rut season the bulls are very aggressive. And you should never be near an elk herd at any time of the year. They are wild animals and become very aggressive during the Elk Rut. For safety reasons, a telephoto lens should be used when photographing any wildlife. Don’t spoil your trip or the safety of other travelers, by getting too close to wildlife.
