This 500-year-old lava cave is located at an altitude of 3,900 feet on Kilauea Crater and is a great stop in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Thurston Lava Tube is the most accessible lava tube on the Big Island of Hawaii and is a fantastic example of a massive lava cave. We take you inside the tube and walk along the Kilauea crater to get there.
