The Rock Signed by the Lewis & Clark Expedition

About an hour northwest of the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument in Montana. And thirty minutes northeast of Billings, Montana. You can find a rock face signed by William Clark of the Lewis & Clark expedition. Pompey’s Pillar National Monument sits on the shores of the Yellowstone River in Montana. William Clark, Sacagawea, and his men camped here. While here they engraved their names into the rock face. Many others have done the same. And there are over 2000 engravings and Native American pictographs.
