We will see a handful of collaborations on the Gel Lyte III throughout the year. In February, Ronnie Fieg dropped his Kith x Asics Gel Lyte III Remastered ‘Super Orange’ and Super Yellow’ to celebrate his new store openings. Although collaborations aren’t easy to obtain, the brand has some nice inline drops coming soon. One of the upcoming releases is known as ‘Rooibos’ and will debut in Spring/Summer 2023.
This Asics Gel Lyte III, known as ‘Rooibos,’ is inspired by traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. The shoes are highlighted with recycled textiles and dyed panels that are leftover ingredients of matcha tea. Utilizing different shades of Orange throughout and tonal branding. They also come with frayed overlays and the signature split tongue. Finishing the sleek look is a Gum rubber outsole.
