Deion Sanders Nike Air Diamond Turf Max ’96 “Black White” will return to retailers on February 10, 2024, exclusively to the SNKRS App, and a global launch will debut on June 14, 2024, for a retail price of $170. The release is the first between Sanders and Nike since they resigned a deal. Furthermore, the shoes will feature his “Prime” branding.

Nike’s ’90s football lineup is top-tier and can almost be comparable to the basketball line with the number of classic releases. One of the models is the Nike Air DT Max ’96, also known as the Air Diamond Turf Max ’96. It was worn by legendary defensive back and wide receiver Deion Sanders, who wore the model for football. In 1996, Deion didn’t play baseball.

The relationship between Nike and Deion Sanders would eventually terminate. However, the two parties reconciled in 2023. Shortly after, rumors started to circulate about the return of some signature shoes, and one of those will be the Nike Air DT Max ’96, specifically in the Black and Varsity Maize color scheme.

This Nike Air DT Max ’96 comes dressed in a Black, White, and Varsity Maize color combination. Highlighted with White leather across the base and Black nubuck overlays that feature a torn or even a teeth-like design. Varsity Maize adorns the Swoosh logos and insoles. Standout features include the football logo on the tongues and a mid-foot strap. Lastly, White, Black, and Yellow cover the outsole to complete the look.
