The Nike Air Max Plus OG ‘Hyper Blue’ was first released in 1998 and designed by none other than Sean McDowell. Last released in 2018, which was a celebratory launch as the shoes celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Not only did the Hyper Blue pair launch, but Nike also brought back the ‘Sunset’ and ‘Voltage Purple’ renditions. Only six years later, the ‘Hyper Blue’ colorway will make a return during Spring 2024.
This classic Nike Air Max Plus will feature a Black, Chamois, Sky Blue, and Hyper Blue color combination. First reported by bubblekoppe, we can also confirm the shoes will return, with the attempt to launch them true to the OG. Utilizing Hyper Blue mesh on the upper and Black on the TPU overlays. Constructed with suede and leather details on the mudguard and heel, Yellow accents the Swoosh, and Orange is placed within the Air Max unit. Other details include 3M reflective on the tongues, ‘TN’ branding, and a primarily Black rubber outsole.
